Biography of Norm B. for Magic Conventions

Comedy Magician Norm Barnhart loves to bring laughter to special events. He also shares his years of experience and magic inventions with other entertainers.
He’s has been a featured performer and has lectured on comedy and magic at The Houdini Magician’s Convention in Wisconsin, Florida State Magic Convention in Daytona Beach, The Comedy Clown Camp University of LaCrosse 8 times, Wizard’s Weekend Magic Convention in Minneapolis 3 times. He’s also lectured and performed at T.Myer’s Magic T- Jam Convention in Austin, TX as well as at the the Boston, Twist and Shout Balloon Entertainer’s Convention, The Klamm Bake Magic Convention in Kansas City, the WCA National Convention 8 times and the COAI, SECA & FCM National conventions. Norm has also lectured and been a featured performer at Conventions of entertainers in Laughlin, Nevada, Calgary and Winnipeg, Canada, Orlando, Williamsburg, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Houston.
Norm was a columnist for Laugh Makers Magazine for 12 years and was the 1998 Laugh Maker of the Year.  His ideas and magic tricks have been published in Genii – the Magicians Magazine, Several times in MAGIC Magazine, The Linking Ring, the Magazine of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

His column of comic magic and skit ideas has appeared for over 20 years for Clowning Around – WCA’s Comedy & Clown Publication.  Plus, 15 years of articles as well as feature cover stories  for the Fellowship of Christian Magician’s magazine. He also writes for the Funny Paper, a comedy kid show magazine Published by Sammy Smith in Florida.
He is a Clean Comedian, M.C., Magician and all around Funny Guy.   He’s been a full time entertainer for over 29 years appearing in all 50 states and 5 countries.  He’s toured Hawaii five times, Performed at The Paul Bunyan Amusement Park for 12 years of special guest appearances, Knott’s Camp Snoopy 12 times, MN State Fair for 2 years of 6 day runs, and hundreds of Corporate banquets, Schools, colleges and family events.
He won first place in the 2007America’s funniest magician contest in Las Vegas at Steve Kissell’s Entertainer’s Workshop.
