Keys to a Better Magic Show #9 – Good Sound and Light

It is magic and the most important thing is to be seen and heard. Magic tricks cannot be effective if they are unable to be seen. Your story or jokes will not have a good reaction if you cannot be heard.

Work in the brightest area of the room.  Do not have light behind you as it may give away how the trick is done and it makes it hard for your audience to see the trick.

Be sure you can be heard. Speak loud and clear. Do not yell. If on stage, use a microphone. Practice with a microphone before you get in front of an audience.
